Happy New Year to all you Screamers!

Screamin has been THE summer rockin festival and this year 2008 will be its 10th anniversary! To celebrate, Screamin has put together an event unlike any other. Beach parties all day long with different themes, prizes and top international bands and the globes greatest DJ`s. Sunshine, sand and fantastic music to dance, romance or relax to. Seven days of parties, contests and THE best music the rockin world has to offer.

The days will be full of fun and your nights are going to be even more so with brilliant bands at the Screamin festival. There will be parties to keep you entertained into the early hours. Screamin has moved the festival to beautiful Pineda de Mar ,however the beach parties will be in the same great location as they have been in the past.

The car show on saturday will be bigger and better than ever with a terrfic band while the beach party will continue all day. Into the nights of the Screamin festival you will see and hear the most spectacular acts while also being entertained by amazing burlesque artists. There is a lovely town to explore, great resturants, clean attractive hotels and so much more to do. Screamin' is in its 10th year and 2008 will be THE party of the summer.

The shows, parties and main events are all easy and convient to get to from your comfortable hotel. It's a holiday that is rockin, It`s a festival unlike any other and this year Screamin' is going to celebrate it in true rockin' style. You won't want to miss a minute of The summer of Screamin'!

Bigger. Better. More to SCREAM about!

It's Screamin's 10th anniversary and we plan to give you the biggest best festival this side of the Rio Grande. In order to do this we have had to move the festival to a new location. Where you might ask? Not far at all! We are moving the festival just next door to the town of Pineda de Mar where we have been promised unequalled support from the town including lots of exclusive goodies for our festival goers. It was a hard decision to make - we literally had several towns asking for the festival but in the end Pineda had everything we could ask for - superb facilities and modern conveniences along with maintaining that "village" feel so many of you love!

With this move comes another - the festival will now actually be held ON THE BEACH! That's right we have made arrangements for an purpose built tent and sound system to have our festival in. Inside the tent will be hot rocking music and not more than 50 yards away will be the cool Mediterranean sea! And just wait to you see the final line-up! We have brought together some of the best talent (New and old!) anywhere - including rare European performances from Frankie Lymon's Teenagers, The Star Mountain Dreamers, Santos and the hit of last year's festival, the lovely Fleshoticas(!) with their hot burlesque and exotica shows and many, many more. In addition to moving the festival we will now be centering most of our events around the beach. Our infamous beach parties will now last into the wee wee hours of the night. I think you'll agree with us that the feeling of sipping sangria by the light of moon while seeing your favourite bands and DJs with fresh cool sea breeze can't be beat
Of course, we will offer you accommodation as usual, you just make sure your boss is aware you'll be rockin' in Spain from the 27th of may to the 2nd of June and get a cheap flight to either Barcelona (BCN) or Girona (GER) now before they're gone! We will take care of the rest!!

This, my friends, is only the beginning. Over the coming weeks we will be announcing even more events, parties and good times. Keep your ideas coming and get ready to do some Screamin'!

10 years of rockin' rollin' and SCREAMIN'!

I'd like to take a few minutes to thank all the attendee's, bands, DJs and vendors who have given everyone nine solid years of rockin' in Calella. The past nine years has seen many old favourites grace the stage, and given you some new favourites to bop, jive and stroll to. We've given you car shows, burlesque dancers and reunions for friends old and new. 9 years has seen a combination of rockin' with the summer sun, sangria and fun.

Now some of you may have heard rumours and whispers about a move, and we are here to tell you its true. Although we have all grown to love the little town of Calella, t his next year will mark a full decade of people gathering on the sunny coasts of Spain to celebrate a mutual love of rockin' music. The whole Screamin' team thinks that something special and deserves to be celebrated in a big way. We took a long look at everything we wanted to do with the festival and came to the sad conclusion that Screamin's traditional home just couldn't cope with all that we wanted to do.

Yes, we will all miss the town, but the good news is that you will be getting even more out of your Summer rockin' festival. Longer parties, more bands and more ways to enjoy your time at the festival. Although we can't yet tell you specifically what town the festival will be in just yet, rest assured that we are spoiled for choice and will only move the festival to the town that offers you the festival goer, the most.

What's the "most" you might ask? Well we have some pretty good ideas on that including more bands and music, more parties and more entertainment, but we would like to hear from you what you think would be good. So let's hear your ideas, your band requests and your opinions. So here's to nine fantastic fiesta's and a great big leap forward to the biggest fiesta to come - Screamin' No. 10!
